Welcome to Cypress Lake Resort! Thank you for choosing our Cajun getaway. We hope you pass a memorable time while staying with us. To help all of our guest enjoy their visit, and further enjoy your Southern Cajun experience, we have compiled this list of resort guidelines.  Please familiarize yourself with this information. If you should have any questions about these guidelines, please do not hesitate to ask one of our friendly staff members.

  • All Property within the boundaries of our resort is privately owned. Please respect other persons’ property; don’t litter or deface.
  • “Good Neighbor” Policy – Please keep your neighbor in mind, by acting safely and being considerate of others in your daily activities.  As our registered guest, you are responsible for all guest, children, and pets at your site. Quiet Time/Curfew/Music – Please be considerate of other guest by observing our “quiet hours”, 11:00 pm until 7:00 am.  Children and young adults (under 18) must be at their campsite by 11:00 pm curfew.  Music (anytime of the day) is for  your enjoyment only – no amplifiers, speakers, etc.
  • Speed Limit – 10 mph is the speed limit while driving in the resort. Please be mindful of children and pets.
  • Trash  – All trash must be bagged and boxes broken down. The dumpster is located at the entrance and exit of the resort.
  • Gas Powered  ATV’s, Go-Carts and etc., are not allowed to be ridden/driven on resort property.
  • Golf Carts – Campers and Guests must be 16 yrs or older and have a valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on the premises.
    • Golf Carts can be rented from the Resort at the administration building.
    • All golf carts must stay on the limestone after it has rained and is wet around the resort and lake.  If anyone is caught tracking mud through the resort you will lose golf cart privileges.
  • Bicycles, Skateboards, Scooters, etc. – are not allowed on the pool deck and/or in the buildings.
  • Lake
    • No SWIMMING in the lake!  Children 12 and under are not allowed along the lake or the fishing pier/dock unless accompanied by an adult!
    • All lake activities are at campers’ own risk.
    • Only registered campers and their guests are allowed to fish in the lake.
    • Fish cleaning is not allowed at your camp site, please use the fish station on the dock.
    • Only fishing with handheld poles or rod and reel allowed in the lake.
    • Bass, Brim, Crappie limit is 5/day, There is no limit on catfish or garfish.
    • You may bring a personal canoe, kayak or paddle board for $5 per day. Please call for any details.
  • Pavilion  – No glass bottles are allowed under or around pavilion area as it is by the playground and many children are not wearing shoes. Please put beverages in a cup if they come in glass bottles.
  • Pool Rules and Hours – The pool is open from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm, 7 days a week. Please read and observe posted rules and regulations for our pool area.
    • No Smoking at patio/pool area.
    • There is no lifeguard on duty – swim at your own risk.
    • Absolutely no glass allowed in the pool area.
    • No outside food or drinks allowed in pool area as long as the Café is open.
    • Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years of age.
    • Please rinse off before entering pool if you are muddy or have just returned from the beach. 
  • CHECK IN TIME: 1:00 p.m. You may advance your check in if your site is available for $5 per hour every hour before 1:00 p.m.
  • CHECK OUT TIME: Please observe 12:00 p.m. is check out and it is $5 per hour every hour after. There are NO REFUNDS on early departures. *You will be given a gate code at check in, for everyone’s safety please do not share this code with unregistered visitors. All visiting guests must use call box to enter resort.
  • Guests – **ONLY FOUR ADDITIONAL PAYING GUEST WILL BE ALLOWED PER SITE** Please register your guests prior to, or at the time of their arrival and secure their wrist band. Guests must park in guest parking spaces only. Golf cart trailers, etc. are to be parked in designated area assigned by management, not in the grass. Do not obstruct RV sites, roadways, entry ways, driveways, or fire lanes. Please no parking on the grass. There is additional parking available by the office and across from row 1 between the bathhouse and pavilion.
  • OFFICE/STORE/CAFE: Ice, movies for rent, games, RV equipment, pool supplies, food, drinks and souvenirs are available. If coming from the pool. please towel dry before entering. Shirt and shoes required.
  • BATHHOUSE. LAUNDRY BUILDING: For your convenience there is a change machine, detergent dispenser, drink and snack machines in the laundry.
  •    Smoking – NO SMOKING in our buildings or restrooms. If found smoking in our buildings or restrooms you will asked to leave the resort immediately and $100 fee will be applied and charged to your card on file. Dispose of cigarette butts properly at campsites and outside buildings.
  •   No one under the age of 18 will be allowed to camp overnight without adult supervision.
  •  Fireworks/Firearms/Drugs – No fireworks of any type will be permitted. No firearms will be permitted, except by law enforcement personnel or permitted owners. Illegal drugs are not allowed on the premises.
  • Pet Etiquette – Pets are welcome at Cypress Lake but, limited to 3 per site, please observe the Following guidelines:
    • Pit bulls and like dogs are not allowed. *For clarification contact the Resort Office.
    • Pets must be leashed at all times.
    • Please be a good neighbor and pick up after your pets there are pet stations around the resort.
    • Pets are NOT allowed around the pool area or in any of the buildings.
    • Pets are NOT allowed if renting out the RV.
  • Vehicles/RV’s – Please do not wash your vehicle or RV. *All mechanical, service work, etc., must be cleared with Resort Office beforehand.
  • Any sort of plastic or vinyl swimming pool, slip and slides etc. are NOT ALLOWED at your campsite.
  • Drainage Hoses must be secured and no more than 6” in sewage line.
  • Campfires– Are allowed at your campsite in a designated area within a fire ring. Fire rings will be brought to your site upon request.
    • No cutting of trees or shrubs on resort property or land adjacent to the campground.
    • For your convenience, fire wood may be purchased at the administration building for $10 a bundle or may be brought with you to the resort.
    • Do not burn trash, glass, or wood with nails, etc. in fire.
  • Cooking Oil/Grease (of any type), BBQ coals/ashes (of any type), and seafood boiling water is not allowed to be disposed of at your campsite. You can call the resort office and we will let you know where to bring it.
  • NO ONE is to enter any of the resort buildings with Mud on their clothes, shoes, feet, etc. If you are caught doing so you will be asked to leave the resort.
  • Cancellation Policy  – Every reservation will be charged a one-night non-refundable deposit and $3.00 non-refundable processing fee. 
  • Camping Credit will be issued if the reservation is cancelled forty-eight (48) hours prior to the arrival date for all non event and holidays. All non event and holiday reservations not cancelled 48 hours prior will not be issued a credit.
  • Reservations for an event or holiday must be cancelled 1 week in advance. *Failure to cancel on time will result in your credit card being charged a minimum of one additional night for your site reserved or the entire stay. All Camping CREDITS issued are valid for 6 months from the cancellation date. Example: If a reservation was cancelled 01/01/2023 you have until 07/01/23 to use the credit on a reservation.  In the event of any kind of MANDATORY evacuation (floods, hurricanes, etc.) only camping credit will be issued. NO REFUNDS.
  •        **Early departures for any reason are not eligible for refunds.**

Rates, seasons, holidays, rules, and policies are subject to change without notice. A first night deposit does not guarantee a set price for your reservation. In the event of rate adjustments, your deposit will still hold your reservation, however you are liable to pay the difference upon check in.

Cypress Lake  Resort, L.L.C. assumes no liability for accidents or injuries to person or property while on/at resort property. Personal property brought into the resort is the responsibility of the owner, camper, guest, etc. Cypress Lake Resort, L.L.C. assumes no responsibility for any lost or stolen property.

 

ALL UNRULY, LEWD, OR UNREASONABLY LOUD BEHAVIOR IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND WILL BE CAUSE FOR PERMANENT REMOVAL FROM RESORT PROPERTY.

FAILURE TO OBEY ALL OF THE GUIDELINES STATED ABOVE WILL BE CAUSE FOR PERMANENT REMOVAL FROM THE RESORT.
